Not for long without having specific testing done on your liver and ensuring that you are not damaging it.
15 mg of Meloxicam is considered about the max you can safely take a day.
What I don't understand is why they gave it to you with that prescription as it only last about 1/2 day (I have it on the shelf for occasional problems and am very familiar with it).
The normal prescription is 7.5 mg twice a day (12 hour intervals). In rare cases Dr's may prescribe 15 mg twice a day for short periods.
Try cutting the tablet in half and taking 7.5 mg twice a day.
Talk to your Dr if 7.5 mg 2X per day does not work for you.
Meloxicam is sure more convenient than other NSAIDs that only last about 4 hours. I was given one of those after surgery once and after a day I asked if I could switch to Meloxicam as I had it in the house. The Dr. agreed and even added that was a good idea for surgical recovery pain.
Melatonin is a naturally occurring substance in your body with a natural countermeasure if theres too much (seritonin)
So no. Not really. You will still wake up even if you eat an entire container. The problem arises when it's not a natural sedative because side effects exist and are compounded with a large dose.
Take a few days off of melatonin you grow tolerant of it after a few days. So crunch it out for a few days and you can go back to eating 3mg no problem.
If you have insomnia then you need to have insomnia meds.
Edit, dyslexia strikes again!
