Is it true that 28-29 year olds is the 'adult teenhood " phase ?

Ok i am still 21 , but i have a twin brother and a sister who are 28 , anyways i started seeing how they act , the way they dress ..etc ,they act like teens , kinda like me and younger people (teenagers ) , i read once that 28 is the "adult teenhood " it's like the transition from youth to adulthood , kinda like the transition from child to teenhood or something , that they will act out ,and be immature and start misbehaving or become crazy .

yes i agree 19
Sometimes 11
It depends on the individual 42
No i disagree 15

I'm 28 and I feel you do kind of have a mid-late twenties crisis. I think being in your late twenties is very "pressured". If not from other people then definitely from yourself. Have to find yourself a decent job/career, home, a partner.

  • Sometimes, the 30s are kind of where a lot of people start to settle down in life, and work hard. Perhaps they're trying to deny this future.

I am 28 years old. I own my home, have a career, and I am married. I do not think I am a teen.

You can have all that and be very immature.

Haha I know Exactly what your talking about. I believe that most reach that point, but it either doesn't last long, or they stay that way and there life goes to the shitter from there but like i said, i believe that most hit that point. Haha its funny because i was just talking about some people I know who are like this and it cracks me up.

I put down sometimes. My brother is 29 and he still parties hardcore as if he were about 21. He's been living on his own though, since he were about 18. There's times where I actually think I'm more mature then him, and I'm 20. I never really party like he does, and he still dates around as if he were 20 yrs old. My sister, though, she's 27, just built a brand new home, is married, and has a baby. She kinda acts just like her age, but sometimes I think she acts younger.

I put down sometimes because I know of a lot of 28, 29, 30 yr olds from my work who don't act immature. But its true. Not all of them, but a lot of them, it seems like the older they get, the younger they really act.

    It depends on the individual

some may use it for an excuse to act immaturely

It depends on the person, the people they surround themselves with and other such things. I always say that I'll probably never fully grow up, but I don't act like an immature teen or child. I just have fun. I don't party anymore, as I have an 11 year old child and own my own company. I cut off the people that never got their priorities straight like I did. No time for that shit
