I love their music and tyler and josh as people but most fans that are under 18 years old are so annoying honestly.
The original source is separate from the fanbase, in this case the source would be the band. Sadly, people often group these two together and never get into something they might enjoy BECAUSE of the horrible fanbase. Or they hate a fanbase so much they stop liking whatever it is they originally enjoyed bc of it. Its completely normal, just don't pay close attention and try to find other people who are into the same thing but aren't as 'annoying'
It's normal to dislike certain parts of a fan base. I like Sonic the Hedgehog video games, and I've talked to awesome fans, but parts of the fan base are scary as fuck: There's whiny people who are easily offended, people who steal artwork, and those that engage in animal fucking. I dont associate with that part of the fan base.
