Is life over when you turn 25?

Like, should you no longer act immature ever again or laugh or be silly and prank, make jokes, etc?

Like if you're at a restaurant with friends and you're talking about something and you start cracking jokes, laughing, being silly, etc is that not allowed/seen as weird? Not like playing with food or anything but just being silly and having fun, cracking jokes, laughing loudly, talking about men, etc.

No it's not over 50
Yes don't act immature again 13

Don't be silly, you can be as goofy as you want forever as you live. Maturity is something about responsibility, code, integrity. That doesn't mean you can't have fun. Ignore people that think they know best.

    Yes, stop having fun.

I'm 56 and I work to your rule and so have stopped having fun twice now.

Just before midnight before my 25th birthday I had so much fun it was untrue, then as the clock struck midnight I stopped.

Then when I hit 50 because I couldn't double stop having fun I decided to be grumpy.

That is the Law. That is what you must do. Now fuck off.

The older I get the less fucks I give. Ain't nothin better than going out with family or friends and not giving a fuck how silly you are being.

Yes, It is indeed the end of all fun. Night after night I cry for the lost laughter. I dream of the days when I was able to laugh without being judged. Then I cry for the taxes. The taxes hurt me so. I cry for the babies. The laughing babies. And when I cry, I cry for crying of the cry that I just cry. Then I say why. Why must I cry?. Until I die? or eat some rye? or maybe pie up in the sky?.

I buy the pie but still... still I cry.

Your 20s are fun, but I started having way more fun at about 35, and it got even better some year's later when the kids moved out! It's true, you're only as old as you act. Some people over 30 are boring sticks in the mud. Others are a blast to party with.

What? I know plenty of people over 25 who do all kinds of weird funny shit. Who's been telling you otherwise?

I used to think my 20s would be the best time of my life, but now it's almost over and my life still sucks, so it will probably never get any better.

I'm 26 and I'm an immature airhead who does weird things. The only person that sees it as odd is my sister. Everyone else sees no issue with it.

Hell yes. Life is definitely OVER for having any fun after 25.
It really sucks being a bit higher on the food chain, having a few people working for you, instead of being the shit head at the bottom. And screw the extra money to buy a few toys and a bit nicer place to live; that's not fun at all.
Let's not forget how awful it is to finally have a SO and a really happy home life. No joking around with your lover; it's all about household finances and those damn taxes. And regular sex, that sure isn't a joking matter.
Sure as shit, you can kiss off having any fun at all, after 25.

I'm 27 and yes, after 25 life is certainly not the same. At 25 and before you're still a bit in a safe-ish bubble of college friends, your bf, it's sort of okay to not exactly know where you're headed just yet, and your parents still love you unconditionally and don't exactly expect you to take on too much responsibility on the family side and yours yet. After 25, its like reality smacks you in the face...hard. Everyone seems to want something from you, you have to have a direction or some sort of a career and relationships start taking a toll on your mindset. Oh and don't forget how you start to see little kids differently (if you've never had any by that time), all of a sudden they're super cute and you begin to feel like your missing out on something. Oh, and how you feel weird when you pass kids (17-23) that used to be your age - like, whoa! How did you take my place! All of a sudden you start noticing people who are younger than you, like you start to acknowledge that you're older than everyone and then the big question starts to lurk around in your head - Are you still attractive or did your most attractive years already pass you by. Oh and the lost feeling. That over 25 lost feeling is the worst sometimes.
