I know life seems real due to our 5 senses (Taste, Smell, Sight, Hearing, and Touch) but is it really? What if life is nothing more than a dream, simulation, or powerful act of Genjutsu (Anyone who gets the reference gets free cyberhugs ^_^)? Please share your comments and thoughts.

1st: We have more than 5 senses
2nd: Watch The Matrix.
3rd: Our brain interprets sensory signals and forms our understanding of the world around us, the reality we're in. Because of this, we can't be certain of anything beyond what these signals tell us. The signals or our interpretation of them could be incorrect, but it's impossible for us to know.
If we woke up from this 'dream', who is to say we wouldn't be awakening into another 'dream'? Where does the dream stop and the real begin?
Or perhaps it's simpler to accept our limitations, trust our own minds and do what we can within the reality we're presented with.
Purely by rational thinking, based on the evidence presented to you.
You know you went to sleep, you know the dream was a different context, with strange chronology, people weren't how they usually are, normal laws of physics don't necessarily apply, your memory of it is extremely vague and you wake up in bed.
You put two and two together and four = dream.
What's the difference? All you can ever know is reality is only perception.
In a way dreams are the same. The difference between dreams and this version of reality is that the laws of physics do not work the same.
For example, here we have basic laws such as consistent gravity, linier time, and probable death.
In dreams laws of chaos take over. There are no set rules. Time is not the same, gravity is not the same, and basic dimensional laws are not there at all.
Who's to say though, that we are not simply projecting to another reality.
What is the same is that in both, the only thing certain, is that we perceive.

I'd love to write a book in this comment box about this, but I'll just paraphrase it in a way people here like to interpret me.
Something cynical, fuck this fuck that conspiracy theory.
Life is just one sims game, and the biggest asshole to ever exist has the controller in his hands.
Why not both and we are all just men standing in twilight between the night of his pigmy self and the day of his god self. Thats Gibran knowledge SON!!!
Well then this dream must be long as shit. Perhapse we are in a dream. Or an illusion. This subject is making my head hurt lol.
