For me it is. But I cannot answer this question for you or anyone else.

For me it's not worth it. The emotional trap of hope is what prevented me from committing suicide so far but I won't hope forever...

It is always worth it. We all have something to do, and though your part may seem small, like a pebble dropped in the stream every action has it's set of consequences spreading out to everyone it touches.

There is enough suffering in the world already. Radiate love and peace, come to love yourself and see the difference that can make in your life. Namaste.

As defined by Mahatma Gandhi: In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."

        • Bullshit, I know what it means. It means " I bow to you". So, you bow to me?

Do you have a problem with people showing you kindness? The attitude is neither needed nor appreciated.

One must decide for oneself. I do not believe that life has worth by itself. If the pain far outweighs the joy, if makes sense to end it. You have to die anyway.

    For me, it is not.

        • No I'm just saying that you may have to work your balls off to get to where you want to be even if it appears that others have things handed to them on a plate.

It's all perception and attitude. Things may feel enduring but its what you value in life that makes it worthwhile

For some people yes, others no. It's not for me to decide though.

  • The end of a road is far important than the beginning of it or the journey in between.

My answer is yes but only because there's something waiting at the end of it.

Do you mean cancer, heart attack, Alzheimer disease, brain stroke, senility, road traffic accident or just simple painful agony of dying? I guess everybody is looking forward to it.

    • I don't think there is any afterlife.

    • So, you mean that you believe in afterlife?

I think it is dependent on the individual. Some people are in a much worse place than others. I've been through some bad times where I wanted to die, and now that things are better I'd rather that I hadn't, but if I had to go through those bad times again I'd rather kill myself than face that again, even if there was hope on the other side. I don't blame people who kill themselves. Life can get so hard it's an insult just to have to keep breathing. There are many things that would make me choose death over choosing to endure.

Whenever someone says life is hard, I like to say "compared to what"?

Haha, clearly there are a lot of sad mother fuckers on this site. Pain and suffering is part of life. Let's not dramatise here, just keep calm and carry on.

You might have to die to find out the answer, but even then you might not - nobody really knows or ever will.
