Is that true what people say about “Saving your money 💰 for a 🌧️ Rainy day?” Would you feel like working would be worth it if it was raining outside and you felt like you had enough money to not need to commute in the rain?

Say Yes it’s normal if Yes money IS WORTH More when it’s raining outside?

Or NO Money is worth the same, people don’t care if it’s rainy day or not?

    This is an idiom. A phrase that means something beyond what the individuals words actually mean. Like, "piece of cake" or "raining cats and dogs."

    Is this not covered in school anymore?

        Excuse you??? Ok sorry you’re right it’s just an expression you’re right? Like when someone says “It’s raining cats and dogs outside”: I don’t go outside and think “Wow, cats and dogs are falling everywhere”?

    I've always taken "saving money for a rainy day" to mean keeping plenty on hand in case of an emergency. Having that money when something unexpectedly comes up is always worth it.

    Technically no. Inflation and all. But if you are in a pinch every extra penny feels like 5x its standard value.

    I remember when I discovered an old bank account with 1000 bucks stashed away. Felt like I won the lottery.
