Is my cycle of improving and failing normal?

So the story is that once I decide that I have a bad habit or I want to add some new good quality or habit into my life, instead of succeeding I just try it out for a while and then stop ( I fail ). Thereafter I'll resume the same task again that's supposed to improve my life for a while and then stop...so this is a cycle of failure for me. I'd like to know if anyone has the same problem and also advice on how to make my positive life changes permanent would be appreciated :)

Well its hard to change old habits ...so I think its normal to fail when trying something new.

However there is little anyone can do to help you...you need to do it yourself. If you really want to change/start a good habit...then thats all on you..if you fail why not pick it back up again and countinue why stop forever?
Also only do one new thing at a time...if you arnt already doing that.

But the only thing I can do is offer encouragement. ..you can do it! Dont give up! Keep trying!
