3 out of 4 of my dogs display it too. I think its funny. We call it the tickly spot.
its normal. every dog has a spot on their back that triggers a reaction. like when humans get their reflex tested at the doctors and the doctor hits under your knee and your leg kicks. its a spot that causes a reaction.
dont worry, your dogs fine.
I was expecting the dog to jump and do something dramatic.
Sounds like the dog is a dog.
yes it is normal, i used to scratch my next door dog just to simple watch him shake his leg. it entertains me :)
No that is certainly not normal!! that means your dog only has a week to live!!!
dogs kick their legs when you are tickling them. They enjoy it about as much as you do, its fun for a split second then it becomes painful. Avoid his tickle spots and scratch him in other places.
It is totally normal. lol
Even the SHEEP at my farm tends to shake one of their legs if i scratch them on the back.
Yes its very normal just about every dog does that. Im not sure why perhaps its a scratching impulse. Other than that its just a sign your dog enjoys being scratched.
its known as a somatic reflex arc. this is the same reason that your leg jerks up when you tap yourself just above the knee.
heyy dwmy dog does the same :D its just summic to do with there nurves or summic! lol you dog is normal or my dog has the same thing ;) lol x
