Is my dog normal

I have a black c*cker spaniel and just a couple weeks ao i got a ferret and the dog is used to being an only pet so latley she has been rolling on the floor and any time she has been going to the bathroom in my daughters room. (where the ferret sleeps). Is it normal for my dog to be acting like this.

  • Sararose thank u for giving the rite answer. It's obvious the ferret is getting more attn so ur dog is doin summin bad to get UR attn, bad attn is better than NO attn. Pay that dog some attn and love on him like it's his last day!!!!

    Your dog probably wants attention. Pay attention to the ferret and the dog equally. Your dog is jealous! This happens with a lot of animals, and it's normal. Lol and I love how in the description it starred out "cocker" lmao!

    Yep! The dog is being territorial. It's trying to send the ferret a message by saying in pee language get out, I am pack leader here!

    Man I am a specialist your dog is gonna die soon, thats a really serious illness is call Palastaie Limosae, good luck, and spend time with your dog, it usually take 6 months.

    i agree. your dog is probably jealous about the ferett being there, and feels that he/she needs to cover the scent of the ferrett to feel confortable. dont worry

  • Yeah, its a territorial thing. ferrets have scent glands just like every other animal, so all your dog is probably doing is marking it's territory again by rubbing it's scent over the ferret's.
