      I'm male and measured my hand length from the base of the palm to the fingertips and it's 6 3/4 inches so I guess for a guy my hand size is a bit on the small side. I don't care.

    The average female hand size is about 6.75". The average for men is about 7.5". So you're hand size is just fine. In any case you're bf should be happy!
