Is my tattoo acceptable or too controversial?

I have an interest in tattoos. Every tattoo I have on my body has great importance or significance in my life. I have a tattoo idea that I have been wanting to get done, but the only thing stopping me from getting it done is because I'm not sure if I'm correct with my interpretations.

So my idea is having a triangle with an eye in the middle with these three lines written on all sides of the triangle:
Blessed is the man that shall continue in wisdom,
and that shall meditate in his justice,
and in his mind shall think of the all seeing eye of God.

I know that a triangle/pyramid with an eye has some resemblance to Masonry and I know that Christians are completely against any Masonry practices. But my design, although similarly looking like the Masonry/illuminati all seeing eye, is drawn out as a positive religious symbol. The triangle represents the Holy Trinity and the eye represents God's eye watching over me.

How do you see it as?
I'd like educated responses, thanks.

It's acceptable, there's nothing wrong with that. 43
Any type of all seeing eye is Illuminati. 8
I wouldn't suggest it. 12
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Yeah and I'd like a cat that shits gold nuggets. I thought your tattoo was going to be controversial like tattooing your penis to look like one of the twin towers and throwing a model airplane at it and making fleas jump off the head.

Neither sound like a good idea for a tattoo to me.

Just so you know, it is against the bible to get a tattoo, second, no-one should have a problem with whatever tattoo you get, if they do then it is their problem not yours.

That's forbidden in the Old Testament, Christians generally don't follow that. Jesus came and did away with the old law.

      Other things forbidden:

Don't wear clothes woven of different fabrics.

      All gays must be killed.

A list of all the animals you can't eat.

Don't cut your hair at the sides of the face. (you'll see a lot of Jews practicing this)

and so on. Look it up, the laws are ludicrous and to follow one is stupid if you're not going to follow all of them. It's in Leviticus, go ahead, read it. Please.

I will never read the bible ever in my life. How can christians only follow one part of the bible when it is all one book, that's like if I follow some of the government law but not others, if you agree to be religious you agree to follow ALL rules.

          Totally true.

Never say never. The New Testament is followed nowadays. The Old Testament stopped when the new one was implemented. So, as much as it is in one book, both parts are in there in order for people to educate themselves about the creation of the world and all the rest which followed.

Anyone can say what you just said. Let's now make excuses just because we can - 'if you agree to be religious you agree to follow ALL rules.' Why are people so anti-Chrtistian anyway?

Why should we care what consenting adults do to their own bodies? If it only impacts them and they choose to do it who cares? Long as they are not pulling anyone else into it I do not see why its a big hassle.

The triangle is bad, it doesn't matter what u say it is (no offence) but if someone sees it they are going to make a judgment on you and it probably won't be a very good one. Think of something more practical

OK. Tattoo. Why do you want this tattoo? Will it be where people will see it and somehow be better informed?
Mostly I don't think people will be impacted by what your tattoo says. If that is the point, save your money.
To the debaters: Just what one believes about God makes the difference between eternity in heaven and eternity in hell. You better take it seriously and figure it out. Best wishes.

Even though nearly everyone is saying there's nothing wrong with it, if you care what people think then don't get it.. Religious morons will DEFINITELY think down on you for it.

Not only "a" religion. They require a monotheistic religion. Your initiation contains vows of accepting one god as the sovereign creator of the universe.

I met a guy once who was a freemason and didn't mind talking about it. Mostly, I figured, being a mason requires a bit of money and social ambitions.
