Is saliva supposed to have a smell?

Or is it supposed to be scentless? If I haven't eaten anything recently, my saliva will smell a little sour, but my hygiene isn't the best, so that could be why. I've never tongue kissed before, but in case I do, I don't want a strange saliva to get in the way of the moment, so is my saliva normal?

    I honestly don't know anything about salvia, because the only thang that's ever appealed to me outside of alcohol is of marijuana. How often do you brush your teeth? Do you you floss regularly?

    salvia doesent come close to the same smell of weed,Its abit like stale grass. has that creepy hallucinogenic aroma about it.

    but you soon forget about the smell once you've smoked it in a bong of course and held it in for ten seconds before you exhale.
