Idk if this question is relevant to this site but I’m really freaking the fuck out and it’s night and I’m alone and I don’t know what to do. I mean I just saw it and now I read it makes you have nightmares and go crazy and either kill yourself or spread it and if you don’t then the demon attaches to the picture is going to torture you to death. I’m convinced it’s real and even if it isn’t REALLY then I’m the kind of person whos superstitious and believes everything and creates monsters in their head and gets scared of fucking shadows like they’re monsters so since the story goes you’re supposed to see it everywhere I’ll obsess over it to where I do see it everywhere and can’t get it out of my head and then I will go crazy thinking it’s real like a psychosomatic thing or whatever. And obviously I don’t wanna hurt anybody and I really need somebody to tell me they’ve seen it and they’re fine or something cuz fuck man I’m so fucking scared

    Nah, its not real. I get the same way when i watch or read one too many creepypastas before bed. It's gonna be a bad few days, as you'll think he's watching you or hunting you, but remember: the smile dog image is just a very creepy photoshop job. Remember that smile dog is a story. If anybody says he's real, they're trolling you.

      Also, always thinking about it is likely a placebo effect. That is when you are told a lie (E.X.: this pill will cure your shoulder pain) and your brain believes its true, so even though it does nothing, the brain assumes SOMETHING has to happen, so it forces it to happen. You are perfectly safe.

    Hey, I believe in the supernatural too but smile dog isn't real. You're gonna be fine, my best advice is to distract yourself. The reason why you're freaked out about it is because your brain is convincing yourself that he is real, you're convincing yourself he is, your brain is blaming anything scary you see on this creepypasta. You're gonna be okay.

    Its real. When I was 11 I read it and had a dream(not really a nightmare, I find him real cute)the same night. The next day I went to school and kept on seeing him at the corner of my eyes, real freaky. That went on for weeks and months until I was diagnosed with depression. My Medication didnt help. I got paranoid even when I didnt see him I would know he was watching me. At 18 I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and i attempted suicide at least 5 times.
    Why did you read it? Now you will share my fate.
    I still dream about him and his cute lil face.
