I can't differentiate a ferrari from a lamborghini, and I'm okay with, all my friends talk about have cars such as the most important thing of the universe, I don't feel amused into driving them as well, is that normal?
It is ok that you have no interest in cars. However, when you buy a car personally for yourself you should know how to buy a good car rather than a lemon. Some brands of car are a lot more reliable than other brands.
It's not common among dudes but normal yeah as long as you have other masculine interests. Like me, I never cared about watching sports, I've always found it boring, even though almost all my pals do; the weird thing is that I love practicing sports (gym + basketball).. but watching I find boring.
+1 @New-Zealand-Guy comment -- regardless of interest in cars in general, always do some research before getting one or at least consult a friend who's knowledgeable about them.

It's totally normal it's just a matter of interest and you don't have to be like everyone else it's the same as being interested in sports or anything else you can not be into it
Everybody has different interests. Car culture is big in certain circles, but that doesn't mean everyone needs to be into it.
