I'm pretty comfortable with the subjects I know and love, and I feel I can pretty much learn anything that requires reading and study if I put my time and energy into it.

The one part that makes me feel inadequate is art and singing. I've tried, a lot! I just don't have the ability to draw well, paint, sculpt, and while I sing on pitch I just don't sound very good.

With the exception of politics and law, I'm pretty strong on everything on your list (I'm an all-rounder). I understand politics. I just don't care to know about it in the detail I know about other things. Same with law (although I understand it less).

The kicker for me (not on your list) is economics. It vexes me. I own books on it, think I've understood it, and then see something in the news that is completely opposite to my understanding. For instance, our last government sold our gold reserves when gold was at an all time low on world markets. Three years later, it's worth six times as much. The man who made the decision is supposed to be a brilliant economist. I can't make sense of his decision, even in the context of the crisis.

Acting. I love it so much but I'm not that good.

I'm not good at art or music, but I'm not interested either. Everything else I've got a handle on.

There's nothing I can’t learn, I just don't have enough time to learn everything I want to.

I tried to learn French, once, but when I remembered that there are genders, I threw the book. Japanese spoiled me.

Nothing. I am able to do everything I'm interested in.

Organic Chemistry. We constantly have chemical reactions around and inside us and think it is interesting to not only be aware of them but also be able to understand them. My problem is the mathematics of algebra is a problem for me due to the challenge of me not understanding it. Other than that, I find chemistry very interesting.

No, I've always done very well even when I don't put much effort. My only regret is that I should have choosen literature instead of maths and accounts.

I really wish I was good at computer science. Some of the kids in my class are complete bosses at it.

Music. I took piano for almost 10 years and I still can't read the notes or play anything.
This really depresses me because I love music and would one day like to make it career.

Computers. People will tell me how to do something and I'll forget automatically.

Foreign languages. I tried to learn Spanish and I ended up forgetting almost everything. To my chagrin I'm expected to learn it again:/

Art. I have a difficulty with drawing and I have taken many lessons in the past but I never got to the level that I wanted to get to.

Science. There are some concepts that I forget. For instance, I've been reading a book on String Theory and I sadly can't remember most of what I read. I would love to be able to engage in a conversation with someone about it, but what's the point if I can barely remember it?

Singing: I used to take lessons and I wasn't that bad but the problem was that my teacher wasn't teaching me to sing out of my diaphragm. So, now if I try to sing my throat starts to hurt and my voice breaks. The part that has something to do with your question is the fact that I have a hard time remembering the lyrics. To some extent, I can't even remember my own poems and CDs I've listened to for a while I only bits and pieces of the lyrics.

Anything that incorporates serious Mathematical principles, which eliminates things like the more theoretical Sciences for me. Every battery of tests that I have taken from grade school until college seems to agree with me.

When it comes to things like reading comprehension, verbosity, writing skills and speaking skills, I usually score among the best in my class.

When it comes to mechanical and spacial skills, I score above average.

I score average at basic Mathematical skills.

Anything beyond basic Mathematical skills, I score sorely below average.

I have dealt with an incredible amount of abuse from my parents due to my low Math grades and ridicule from my peers. People love telling me about how stupid I am because I have trouble with intermediate algebra and I have had friends brag to me about their progress in Math class and tell me that my work is so easy and that they are surprised I can't do it, in that snub tone.

As a result, just seeing Math problems, no matter the difficulty in relation to my skill level, placed before me, causes me considerable anxiety. For all I know, I am not bad at Math, but I don't think I'll ever know.

I cannot learn my woman! I think she hates me.

A foreign language for me. I love anime and pretty much everything Japanese, but my schools only offered Spanish, and I just barely passed those. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford Rosetta stone or something.

I have trouble understanding some physics because some of it goes against what I have previously learned in school. The concept of time boggles my mind sometimes but it's only because I think too much into it. The fact that time slows down when you nearly hit the speed of light is fascinating but it's hard for me to wrap my head around, because even though our sense of time is man-made, how can you enter a situation where everything around you moves at a faster rate of speed. I suppose I need to learn to see time in a different way in order to fully understand.

I do enjoy singing as well and I've practiced for a long time now and feel I wouldn't ever be able to achieve and acceptable sound without professional lessons.

Any one of those things could be learned, for me, except culinary arts. I love food but just don't have any "natural" culinary prowess. I have no drive to dig through my kitchen and invent something, especially not something good.

Ugh, if its not a hands on type of thing, it takes a little while for it to stick. That didn't sound quite right now did it. But seriously, anything involving working with your hands or physical labor type of stuff I can learn very quickly. Book learnins are a little harder because of my memory :( theres a lot of subjects I wish I knew a lot more about.

Computers. No Problem finding my way around & doing what I need to, but there's always one level deeper to go.

Music. Zeppelin Rules. Not much more to say.

Art. Art should be equal parts creativity and talent. So much of what is called art is short on the talent and looks like a 7 year old could have made it. I will never understand some of it.

Science. No problem there. Cold logic rules the universe. Learn the rules & you've got it made.

History. I've got a decent grasp for my purposes, but could always learn more.

Literature. Reading books puts me to sleep sometimes, plus I prefer nonfiction. Some classics are classic for a reason and are pretty good though.

Politics. I have my own ideas, but do not like discussing because people get too emotional and want to have a debate. I do not maintain files of facts & statistics in my head in case I run into a political debate.

Foreign language. This is the one I need help with. If I can recall a word a few hours after I initially learned it, I've got it for life. However, that's difficult for me and I can't memorize vocabulary lists like I've seen some folks do.

Law. Not a whole lot of experience, and I'm not much of a lawbreaker. I'll pay the lawyer if I need to.

Mathematics. Easy, like science. Logical and intuitive. If you learn the basic rules and practice a bit you've got it made.

Psychology. This seems to change decade to decade, and also change as society changes. If you look at what passed for psychology 50 or 100 years ago it would seem laughable next to today's thinking. Who's to say that 100 years form now all that we consider to be cutting-edge will be considered bullshit?

Medical. I know the basics. If someone close (or me) had a major ailment or disease I would educate myself as needed.

Mechanics. All fucking day long, no problem. An art in its own right, but ties in well with science and math if done correctly.

Culinary arts. I can cook a few things well if interested & motivated, but usually fall short just keep fed.

Cookery, foreign languages and art I would love to be good at, but I can't do any of them very well at all.

That's one of the things I forgot! I tried learning karate when I was very young and it didn't work out. I was too scared to do cartwheels and somersaults because my family told me I would break my neck. I think I fell behind and I had to get private tutoring from one or two different teachers. One of the teachers (I think it was the African one) someone how gave me Pink Eye and on "graduation day" , a day when everyone got to attain a new belt colour and received awards, I couldn't break the damn board. I think I was partially scared of the pain and I couldn't make up my mind whether to use my foot or my hand. So one of the instructors took my hand and helped me break the block and that fucking hurt. Then, not too long after that I remember get pulled out of class, but I can't remember if I was the one who wanted to quit or if my family forced me to.

If I tried again I'd want to learn an actual martial art.

Probably medicine, because it would be horrific. Seeing people messed up, putting tubes into them, all that other medicine stuff, bleurgh! I don't think I could stomach it, unfortunately. Not sure though. Other than that, I'm fine, although there are a few on your list I've never tried.
