Is there a way to get student loans without fasfa?

Is there a way to get money without Fasfa? Fasfa is the student loan paperwork but they wont give me enough loans since they expect my mom and dad to pay it. My dad is no longer really in the picture and my mother has said already its not her job and she will not be paying for any of my schooling. I honestly dont think she should have to after 18 and that people after 18 should be able to make their own decisions but Fasfa doesnt see it that way. Is there any other options I can look into? I mean I have a job and means to support myself but Fasfa still sees it as HER INCOME only. I only make 11 an hour and that really is not that much when you get down to it. It does not matter if I am living on my own or homeless they still count me as an dependent.

Why get a loan? Get a little on the job training in the financial world before school; rob a bank.

      More anti-bank, anti-capitalism?

What's wrong? Didn't plan for retirement and waste time online because smarter people took your money from you?

      Blame Jews for that.

First, you must learn how to spell FAFSA correctly.

Go into the military. You will learn a trade to give you experience. So select something that will transfer to the civilian world. Sniper isn't one of them. If you progress in the military, it gives you leadership experience that companies love. If you like it, you can make a career out of the military, if you are good at it. And when you get out you can exercise the GI Bill to pay for college. It is a win win proposition.

    • That is kind of a problem since going into the military requires you to have associates you known for seven years. I dont really have childhood friends and associates and I moved a lot as a child(Not of my choosing). So you kind of dont know how hard is it actually getting in. I was going to try Coast guard to see if they dropped the score but if they do a background this extensive like the rest of the services do apparently I am not getting in. That would be a nice option if you know I had friends I known for a long long time. Its not a job for someone who moved around a lot as a child.

This is totally illegal, but it's literally the cheapest way to get a guaranteed loan with a really low interest rate. Join ROTC...for an "easier" branch of the military, like the air force (it's debatable whether it's actually easier, but the exercise routine will be less rigorous than say, the marines). You'll have to wake up butt ass early, stay in shape, and take a few extra classes.

Your senior year, I believe, you'll have to enroll in OCS, but you can drop out the first day...after that, you'll owe the government back for your college tuition, since you didn't actually serve in the military for 4 years, but with only a 1% interest rate...which is amazingly cheap for a student loan.

I only know this because my ex left OCS for the marines. You might want to double check everything because I'm not in the military, and I could have some facts wrong.
