🎵 There ain’t no rest for the wicked. Money dont grow on trees. I got bills to pay, i got mouths to feed. There ain’t nothin in this world for free.🎵
A year ago a kid in the neighborhood knocked on the door looking for free old computers or certain other electronics. He enjoyed fixing them and updating the software if needed and selling them.
I thought he appeared sharp. So I discussed with him the concept that he could leverage what he was doing into a much larger business in the future and potentially never have to work a normal job.
I told him I had an old apple laptop that I might be willing to let him have if he showed me that he was interested in learning about how to build a better business for himself. He sounded eager. Then I gave him a book to read: "The Compound Effect - Subtitled: Jumpstart your income, your life, your success" and explained that if he read it and came back to me to discuss the book and how it could impact his future that he could have the computer.
He came back 4 times for that computer, and never got it because he never even read a single page in the book.
He just wanted free stuff to make money from - and had no interest in improving himself.
There are people who will assist you with what you want - if you show those people that you are willing to improve yourself.
Check online. There's probably websites that have listings for free stuff near you. Though the stuff is either going to be outdated, damaged, or just plain unusable.
Nothing in this world is free but if you want free try entering a giveaway or something which has what you are looking for.
Be a kid. I guess.
I got everything free as a kid. As soon as I was 17, the cruel reality came to play nothing is free ðŸ˜
Put on a BLM shirt and go into Best Buy and demonstrate one or twenty out of the store. If they try to stop you just shout out how racist that they are.
If you want something that's considered garbage by current standards it's possible.
The only way you're getting a decent one for free is through a giveaway.
If you want somethin 10+ years old then yeah theyre just givin em away
you might have some performance & compatibility issues though
Make friends with a computer geek.
I don't really consider myself that, but I've got various old machines sitting around that are outdated and not capable of running the latest games and other demanding software, but are fine for office productivity apps, internet browsing and so on. If I knew someone who would find them useful, I'd be happy to give them away.
Working? No. But you could try out adds on Craigslist or other places people sell things that you’re seeking one.
