Is this an acceptable behavior from a seller?

So about 2 weeks ago, I ordered a T-Shirt from a seller from Thailand ( Usually when it comes to these countries, I am not bothered much about having to pay import tax and yada yada yada. ), anyways I asked a question about shipping/confirmation email and the seller replies with "Are you so dumb that you cannot even read???? Especially with what I've sent you? ", so about a week later the seller gives me the tracking number since he had already shipped it and also telling me that my next order and discounts will not be valid if I don't read the emails.

Today to my surprise my t-shirt came to my doorstep but I still questioned whether his behavior was normal or not though. Luckily the t-shirt was worth the money I paid for surpringly.

Do you think that kinda behavior is normal?

Hell nah. What the fuck? Call your credit card company or bank & cancel the charge.

You say you feel the product was good value for money, and it sounds like the seller didn't screw around with shipping dates that kept slipping further and further forward, so I don't see how you have reasonable grounds to complain.

The guy is apparently a jerk with poor customer-relation skills. If you don't like it, don't buy from him again.

Maybe it's unfair, but I get a whiff of "the customer is king" BS off your post. Lots of people - Americans in particular - seem to believe that handing over a few bucks entitles them to some serious butt-kissing by the person selling an item or service. I'm convinced that this inflated sense of entitlement is what's behind the epidemic of Karens - male and female - in the States. In fact, it's possible that the vendor has dealt with so many people like that from the States that he starts off belligerent whenever he's contacted by a buyer from there.

Don't be a Karen. Just enjoy your t-shirt, and make a note never to buy from that vendor again if you refuse to deal with rude people.

    • Fortunately I am not a Karen because if I was it would probably aggravate him even more, so from what I can tell you might be right about it so like you said, he probably dealt with entitled Karens for me to have gotten a reply like that.

A good thing but it might end bad I have a feeling of it is that he will offer a refund if there is something wrong with the t-shirt, though knowing him he will give me a response that will just be awful ( likely but not saying it will happen since in some of the reviews I've read he was known to give bad responses ).

Next time I'll make sure I get t-shirts I like from another vendor.

I will 100% enjoy my shirt I ordered from him though. :)

I find this hilarious. As an American I actually expect to get roasted by foreigners during an ebay transaction. If you don't refer to the seller as a goat fucking commie, you will overpay for shipping.

No its not normal the person is a dick. Just leave a bad review if you can and you could insult him or whatever. Hes probably a 5 foot tall mouth breather with low T and gets to acts tough on the internet. Id just insult him back and move on.

    • The least I could do now is not to order from him anymore.

If you want to piss someone off tell them the truth. But in this case you dont know enough about him for that. Id go with racism. Find out if he is a muslim, afromerican or something and go from there.
