Is this much dandruff normal?

So, after college ended my hair stopped growing in the middle of head, hair line did not recede. I am currently trying Rogaine for about a month. I have been shedding hair for about a year now. Anyway I could deal with thinning and falling hair, but MAAN I have flakes of dandruff all over my hair. I'd figure that the alcohol in rogaine would make your scalp but you should see these things. Anyway, is it normal, any recommendation to fight it? head and shoulders aint doing much

Alcohol will dry out your skin. You can try a shampoo with tea tree oil but it may not help if you keep using the Rogaine it might not help. Good luck.

  • Try castor oil two-three times per week. Massage it in and leave it for awhile, then rinse it off. You got dandruff because of your dry scalp.
Do you use shampoo everyday? It can make the scalp very dry. Try to minimize it.
Do you use shampoo and conditioner meant for dry hair? They might help.
Look at the back of your shampoo. Does it say parabens or alcohol? Then change shampoo, it's not good.
