My step sister who's 5 has a habit of 'wriggling' around on people's (even strangers) laps we think she's getting pleasure from it (i think she has orgasms). Should we stop this behavior or is it normal?
Children around potty training age tend to do things like this my nephew humps things so did my freinds daughter when she was 3. and lots of children when they do this they smetimes find that spot i have been masterbating snce i was 4. my mom used to try to stop me pop my hand ect but i just learnd i shouldnt do it in front of people. i gues thats what she should learn that and make sure she knows no one else should touch her like that bc i wasnt told thus i was a perfect victim for a few people.
... Have you asked her why she does this? This is very odd. Have you considered the possibility that she may have been sexually abused by someone?
all kids do this totally normal just tell her to do it in private in her room and not on other people. tell her its not nice. dhe might have UTI too check on that
its not normal.. you should tell her its not appriate or she might grow up being really promiscous. she needs to know that theres boundries and its good to teach them that at a young age. my little sisters dad was a perv and we found out that ge used to masterbate to my little sister when she was in the bath and taught her naughty words like the candy cane is in the hole god knows what else when she was 2 hes not in her life anymore. she became really "out going" and would lift her shirt or wiggly her butt to anymore. we broke her out of it and told her she needs to respect herself maybe something along the happened to her? my sister doesnt remeber but it obviously subconsiously staryed with her . maybe this isnt the case but u need to step up

Depends why she does this ... out of natural curiosity, normal; because an adult taught her this ... certainly NOT normal! behavior prob should be curbed to a degree, but DON'T go to the polar opposite extreme and stop her from cuddling or siting on th laps of adults at all That is the worst thing u could do to a child whether sexually abused or not. They need affection to be healthy and develop into adults especially those who have survived sexual abuse.
I would have to say, this is a little unusual. But I don't think this is uncommon. My friend's son likes to hump pillows. I guess this is part of growing up.
