Is world wrestling entertainment (wwe) fake?

Some events of wwe is so predictable that you may think its fake. Is it totally fake? Or just a little staged to make it more entertainning? Are the fights fake? Or just the enemity between wrestlers?

Yes it's fake. My proof? I worked at an event center where the WWE was one night. I happened to be the person "guarding" backstage near the elevator so no one would come down to where the wrestlers were. Anyways, I was right next to all of them. They were all practicing their moves. I heard things such as "kick me right here so that I can grab your leg." Then the other wrestler goes "Yeah that's good then I can do this." and so on. On a side note, Triple H was one of the nicest guys. I didn't know who he was. He was going up the elevator at one point and I asked him "Are you going next?" Him "No I'm last." Me "Oh you must be really important then." and he laughed. Later I realized what I did and talked to him more. He's awesome. I tried to joke with John Cena...i think that's his name. What a douche.

Are you fucking kidding me!! of course it's fake, the only difference between WWE and an Action movie, is that in WWE they do their own stunts, but the whole scenario is rehearsed a lot before performing it in the ring.
On the other hand, UFC is real.

    where's the semi-fake option?

It's staged and the matches are often trained before the shows. But what's not fake is:
    -some punches/kicks
    -when you land on somebody
-falling from the hell in a cell
    etc. you get the picture...

Some things are fake while others aren't. I mean they wont hit each other the hardest they can, but they will try to make a nice sound effect out of it!

On the other hand Randy Orton's punt kick (the kick he delivers to the head of an opponent as a signature move) has been banned a month ago because Alberto Del Rio had a concussion out of it afterwards.

So yeah, it's both fake and not: semi-fake.

ECW is not fake however. Look at 2005-2007 WWE ECW wrestling. It's when they brought back the dead company with Paul Heyman in charge. That was real. Blood everywhere, and you can literally see how they punch each other like it's box or something...quite entertaining I might add.

It's not fake, it's scripted. It's no different to watching a soap or going to see Les Miserables or whatever. It annoys me when people say it's fake, because these men & women train hard, risk their health and spend most of their year away from home just to entertain the fans. Give them a break.

Except it isn't. Surely if it was though, you would be able to come up with an argument against it? If you're not capable of that then you should really have kept your irrelevant, incorrect opinion to yourself.

jesus wept - everytime i see this question is just have to pick my jaw up off the floor.

wrestling isnt real in the sense its not a legitimate sport, and everyone knows it. the people who make these threads now it, and only do so to bait the wrestling fans and laugh at those who say its real.

wrestling isnt real, but its not fake either. its predetermined but they have to be good stuntmen, storytellers and in the end people get hurt, and very badly sometimes. the blood is real too, i know some think it isnt, but it is - sometimes its a razorblade cut, sometimes its hardway (legit cut) - bones are broken very easily too - in recent months at least 6 wwe wrestlers have been badly hurt - and just the other week on TNAs latest PPV one of their guys damaged their neck so bad they were in critical conditon for a good week, and he still cant walk - and its likely his in ring career is done.

so thats the jist of it. its fun, but can be dangerous.

Of course it's fake, lol. Watch some really old wrestling matches; you can really tell. Just because it's fake doesn't mean that it is not entertaining though. It is what you make it just like anything.
