Isitnormal i slept in wrong house and tenant didn't wake me up?

I am 24 y.o girl working in this new town. Rescently changed my house in the same building to another floor. I was too tired after work and went straight to my old house and fell asleep there. Guy living there was sitting on couch in living area when I walked out at morning and asked me if I slept well.
He looked friendly but I doubt he was mocking me.
I feel extremely embarrassed but grateful towards him because he didn't tell it to anyone and didn't wake me up either.
is it normal for me to sleep there? Did this happen to anyone else? is it normal he didn't wake me up and send me to my house?
I didn't come out the whole Sunday cause I am too embarrassed to see him.

That's really funny, especially the mental picture of houses on top of each other .... Not sure if you're trolling: had you kept the key or are the keys interchangeable?

You were lucky I reckon and it's a good story to tell for the rest of your life: stop being embarrassed about it, have a good laugh at yourself and in future don't let yourself get so tired

    • I had a copy of latchkey by mistake. I returned it to security office the same morning. I still feel weird about it. :(

Trust me, it will stop feeling weird and you'll stop feeling embarrassed and it will become a funny story.

I'll give you my example of a VERY embarrassing experience that after not too long became a funny story I tell against myself: I'll try and be brief. Very hot day, forgot to eat much, went out to my local for some live music, ran into someone who upset me to the point of tears, smoked a very strong joint, smoked another one, got extremely stoned and threw up in front of everyone, fortunately outside on the grass, but still ..... looked up to see person I was besotted with holding my false teeth which I didn't realise I'd chucked up in front of him.

I still feel a tinge of embarrassment even writing that, but it really is funny and fortunately I have great mates who although they teased me a bit at the time, didn't humiliate me. So there you go .... that's REALLY embarrassing yourself!
