Isn't it weird as teens people will weigh your worth by your genetics?

If you have good genetics and are really attractive you're treated differently than if you have 'bad' genetics and are unattractive.

When I was a teen I remember my metabolism was really slow. I had to limit what I ate, wasn't allowed to snack and was naturally chunky. I also had no eyebrows they were so light and scarce and I had large arms and thin hair.

Then my best friend had super speed metabolism so she ate whatever she wanted, she actually had to drink two protein weight gain shakes during the day to maintain her 95 pound weight. There's a term for it I can't remember. She also had really naturally thick long wavy hair and thick even sharp and dark eyebrows with bright blue eyes so people treated her like she was worth more just because of how she looked, her genetics. She wasn't even a good person (she made fun of people behind their backs, made lists of the people in our grade from ugliest to least ugliest) and was just really self centered but more people gravitated towards her than me. More girls wanted to be just like her, more guys wanted to date her so they'd treat her like a goddess and treated me like no one.

I remember even going out to a school party with her and the men were swarming her and when I walked over two of them said watch out for the whale. It's crazy that if our genetics were reversed I'd be the one they'd swarm and they'd call her whale.

It's just so strange to me that they judge by genetics.

Just a case of lifes a bitch. People are only equal in a moral sense. But in reality people are not equal in any way some are smarter and others better looking. And depending on your class your opinions are not even equal.

Good genetics make your life easier. Statistically if two people are equally qualified for a job and one is much better looking the good looking one gets the position. Many times the less qualified good looking one gets it. Its often not eveb intentional its how humans subconsciously operate. If your kid goes missing and you're from a trailer park it often doesnt get the same attention. If a kid goes missing from a wealthy neighborhood its all over the news.

For most of my life I didnt know I was deficient in testasterone. Leading to me being the very bottom in physical performance vs even the fattest kids in class dispite me looking relatively fit.

So my intellectual interests gained more attention than any physical interests.

Highschool is a bitch but afterwards the only standards you have to live up to is your own and whatever standards for your work requires. The service and acting community require a bit extra when it comes to looks but honestly people dont care if their mechanic looks ugly.

Yeah, totally normal. It's shitty but it's just the way of the world. Don't worry though - as you get older it will matter a bit less, and more people will have learned to value the person as a whole. The ones who never learn that aren't worth bothering about.

Girls are brutal in high school. If you dont maintain a weight under 125 your definitly going to be reminded everyday that your diffrent. But men are no better. My freshmen year of high school I was about 230lb and all the senior boys would call me rat rod.Moust of them didnt even know my name.
