It is normal for your cheeks to hurt when you smile / laugh?

So when I make my friend laugh she says her cheeks hurt when she smiles or laughs. I think that's not normal - It would be sh*t to have sore cheeks when you smile or laugh, cuz smiling and laughing is good.

Is it normal for your cheeks to hurt when you smile / laugh?

Sometimes my cheek feels stiff when smiling for some reason, but doesn't really hurt.

Ya, kind of like holding your arms up for a long time? They get tired. But with your cheeks you don't really notice it, but when you do you can't un-notice it.

Sure it's normal. I think I've had it happen twice or so -- when the smiling/laughing was for over 30+ mins

Yes, this is normal. Mine hurt when something gets me laughing for a good few minutes. Then sometimes I get hiccups afterwards.

Ever had a hiccup mixed with a laugh snort? The strangest sound a person can make, from personal experience.......

Never have. Seems like it would be a funny sound though. :)

Yeah! I like it when my cheeks hurt from smiling/laughing. Something must be really funny for that to happen.
