It's driving me nuts to be forced to hear this.

I work in retail. The owner plays classic rock for our customers all day. So it's the same loop of classic 70's rock over and over every fucking day. I'm at the point where if I hear "Free bird" one more fucking time I'm going to burn to whole fucking store down so I won't be tortured by this music anymore. My suggestions to the owner: Cool jazz? (That sounds too much like black music). Soft rock(That's homo music). Folk? (You smoking weed? Better not be.) Country blue grass? (We got too many black customers. That hillbilly shit will drive them away). Again: Cool jazz? (I already told you. Sounds too much like black music.) He pays me well. I enjoy our customers. But this all day classic rock is driving me crazy. Anybody think I'm being normal here? Am I going to quit? Kind of looks that way.

Suggest a change of decade. Classic 80's rock is still "people friendly".

I used to decorate houses with a boss who played Christian rock all day. Brain-damaging!

Is it loud enough to be a health & safety issue in terms of hearing loss? Just a thought ....
