I been trying for weeks trying get a job at this place. Its a fast food place. The manager said last time (When it was advertised they were hiring) that they were not hiring. Told me to come back again and gave me time when they are here. I did this for weeks and they still not hiring. I dont understand how long I suppose to do this. I keep being pressured by my room mate saying I NEED TO WORK THERE and I should work there and its my fault im not working there. I keep going over and over dressed up and turn in live application and one online and always talk to the manager. Why isnt this working?

      Nothing really but my room mate keeps pressuring me saying if I keep nagging eventually ill get a job. They keep treating me like shit over it saying I NEED TO WORK THERE. They said I cant give up and I have to keep trying no matter how long it takes. That its the only way to get a job. I tried telling them its not working but they dont care say im not trying and im a lazy shit for not continuing.

        Your roommate sounds like a weirdo. Look for work elsewhere if you so choose. Is this roommate employed at the fast food joint in question? I personally hate working with food.
