Is it OK to leave your pet in the car with the window down, and the temperature is in the low 70s. I did, and my dog was fine, but a passer-by saw him and told me he was about to call the cops because he was barking I told the stranger all dogs bark on a happy day! (The Windows were Down with a water bowl full))
i don't think you should leave a dog in a car unless it's cool like in winter time or you leave the air conditioner on if it's warm/hot weather
Its generally pretty shitty to leav a your dog in a hot car while you go in a store. Even if the windows down
In some of the shady towns I lived in, open windows was pretty much an open invitation to a thief. They'd steal a dog and whatever valuables were in the car. It didn't even matter if it was day or night. XD
I once called the police on someone who had their doors locked and windows up it was 100 outside and like 60% humidity. I saw the dog when i was going into a restaurant and when I came out the dog was still there. The girl was in a nail salon getting a pedicure. The cop didnt care he just said its probably the girls dog in the nail salon because thats where its parked. I tried to open the doors and set the alarm off
In a lot of places animals are considered property and not breathing living things since they aren't human. In turn, people really don't
care what happens to them. It's nice to see that you were trying to do something sweet for that dog.

Separate errands from dog activities. They don't want to sit alone in the car.
Yeah just keep doing what you're doing. It's totally fine until he dies, then you have to stop.
