Japanese food doesn’t require skill

Lots of Asian food require awesome skill, but not Japanese cuisine.

Take a squid or a fish. Chop chop, serve raw, man sashimi.

Take a fish, debone it with pincers. Slice slice, slap it on some rice. Bam, sushi.

Take a live octopus. Put it on a plate. Voila, meal time.

Japanese food is pretty bland for the most part. Not sure why it's so loved.

Why does nobody know that sushi doesn't have to have fish in it? The necessary ingredients for sushi is the rice itself, and seaweed. Fish is just an adding like any of the other things they put inside like mushrooms, or pepper or whatever the fuck. It's not the main part of what makes sushi sushi.

Depends on the dish however most of them are easy to make.

Talking about Japanese food I feel like having some ochazuke or some miso soup all of a sudden.

That can be said about literally every cultural cuisine. Take X ingredient, do Y to it, Z to finish off.

Except for british cuisine, that shits bland.

Right, they don't even know how to use fire to cook meat. Neanderthals. No thanks, I'll enjoy my not-Japanese ramen instead.
