Everyone does it, let's be honest. Human nature.
You're going to be judged on everything, and that includes positive judgment too. If someone judges you as friendly because you smile when you meet them, that's still a judgment, it's just a positive one in your favour.
Are we only allowed to judge when it's positive? Or are we going to be consistent, and say it's wrong to assume someone is a decent person for showing class and manners too?
Well aren't you judging people who judge others? That makes you a hypocrite.
I like to judge. I think this site must mostly attract people who like to judge since we're giving opinions on if things are normal :P. That's a judgement! I generally don't hold my judgements against people though!
You're passing judgment in this post?
There are times when others judgements about you are appropriate and necessary. When you're being told you're doing something wrong maybe you are in fact doing something wrong.
Everyone has a right to their own opinions and covinctions! I dumped a female friend, because she was chasing after a married man, and expected me to have feelings and emotional support for her sorry ass. I can't and won't associate with a person like her! It's my free choice to judge the actions of others by my own morals, values and ethics. I'm not capable of actually judging (passing judgment) anyone in any real sense, because I cannot send people to Heaven or Hell or give them bad Karma or whatever. It's not others who truly pass judgment on us, but our selfish and wrongful actions that do so.
I think you just resent others, because you don't want to be accountable for your own stupid actions.
Right on, Rosie. I always try to focus on people's actions, not their values. I take action to support non-creepy people that support everybody.
Eventually, judgements are inevitable, and I hope to be remembered as a creepy person that sincerely tried to help everybody by lending a hand to people who needed help without trying to influence them.
