Just got rejected twice i think

Well I asked a girl out a couple days ago she said she was talking to someone, alright cool whatever. But why would you tell me today that you're no longer 'talking to anyone, but it doesnt mean anything'. This one just stings quite a bit. I dont know just wanted to share this pain that just hurts for no reason.

    It could mean two things. It could be as you represented, that she rejected you twice or it could be that she was making you aware the other person is no longer involved and the "doesnt mean anything" was a way to make herself not seem desperate. Sadly women overestimate their ability to send out the right messages to avoid a feeling of rejection by directly making you aware there's a chance.

    Play it safe. Make it known you're interested one more time and if she cuts you down once again then move on.
