Usually it only hurts if it's inserted wrong, it does take a bit of trial and error to get it right.
Yep, it's not all white dresses, horseback riding and days at the beach like commercials show.
Once I had to have a colonoscopy, and I got my period the night before. I wanted to reschedule, but the nice lady at my doctor's office talked me out of it. The next morning, before the colonoscopy I told a female nurse about my problem, and she told me to just use a tampon. Well, those things are really uncomfortable, and borderline painful so I thought, "fuck that noise"! Anyway, I did tell the male nurse who was probably gay, and he didn't seem bothered in the least so... meh.
Yeah, I don't remember the last time I wore a damn tampon. My flow is too light for that crap. Fuck that noise!
Yes, it's normal that the tampon hurt. I don't know if you've inserted a finger before, but when I was younger, the first time I did even that hurt.
I think so, but I do not wear them. Someone once told me I was a wimp for saying my pap smear hurt, but whatever. Maybe she was just a loose cannon down there. I don't really know.
After you wear them a few times it gets better. I found that pulling them out is usually what hurts.
it hurt me at the start kinder, I didn’t understand how a tampon was a challenge for me. Also I thought it was all the way up to my sister I said “ I don’t thinks it’s in enough” she said “it just feels like that” then it came out in the beach :’)
It hurt so much the first few times I tried to put a tampon in. It's normal and just one of those things.
My mom and i never could wear them. Supposedly if inserted correctly you cant feel them but i always did.
My biggest reason is toxic shock possibility. Unless youre a professional swimmer or gymnast theres no reason to wear them...
