Lesbian phobia, iin?

For many years now, lesbians have Ben making me very uncomfortable. Call it a phobia or an aversion, if you want. I'm not anti-gay or anything of the like. I'm in the community too but, I'm not gay.

I'm no longer insecure about my sexuality yet, my uncomfortability around them remains. I had a few weird/bad non-sexual experiences with lesbians when I was young.

I really don't get it. If a woman is bisexual or Pansexual, I won't be as uncomfortable but, I'll still be uncomfortable. IIN? (Please no rude comments. I need serious answers. Thanks.)

  • What happened in those bad experiences? Those experiences could be the reason why.

There are bad lesbians out there, just as there are bad gay people out there, just as there are bad heterosexual people out there. You have to realize that the individuals that gave you bad experiences represent themselves and not lesbians in general. I've known some lesbians and sure some were douchey but many were good people.

I think that your uncomfortable feelings around lesbians may make them feel insulted by you too, which might make some act negatively to you through a misunderstanding of how you view lesbians.

So try get it fixed if you can. You;d be better off. :)
