Liberals hate confederate flags
Is it possible that the migration to ones area can be swayed by the concentration of confederate flags? My home town was overrun by out of state people (liberals) and I slowly saw the concentration of confederate flags shrinking over time until it was hardly ever seen unless you were in the rural part of county. Theres good and bad in this ofcourse, property values went up, more businesses moved in. But they bring their liberal ways as well and they do not seem to like the redneck types even though they came to us. They come in their kids go to the schools. Half their kids are having a gender crisis. They try to get the teachers canceled, they go to the news. Blah blah blah
So I decided to move an hour away to the side of the major city thats basically culturally the redneck stronghold of the state. And I have noticed that there is no diversity here. I discovered this town is 99% white. Everyone I have met who lives here is from the state. And I wondered why the ppl havent moved into this area as its the cheapest town on the outskirts of this major city BY FAR. And then it hit me... It was all the confederate flags. You go to the store you'll see about 2 of them. Whether its a hat or a bumper sticker. I started realizing maybe people thought about moving in and came to the area just to say woah I dont like it here. Then I googled the town and that was exactly the case. People on reddit complained about the area and said "If I have to go through that part to get to the other side I go around it!".
And its not even bad crime wise. Its not worse than anywhere else in this side of the state. Theres alot of drug addicts, but its the south, there's drug addicts everywhere.
Anyway do you believe that confederate flags can scare people out of moving into your area? This is literally the only difference in the other parts of this state.
