Licking to eleviate fever

My Fiancé insists that licking is a good way to alleviate fever, whenever I'm sick she'll make me soup in bed and pamper me, but then afterwards she likes to lick my neck and torso. It's wired and I'm not sure it really works but it feels nice.

    have you found any research to support her claims? If it feels nice and doesn't bother you while being ill , I see nothing wrong with it .

      The only thing I can think of is that it cools the skin little when her saliva dries.

      It's still weird yet enjoyable though.

    I would think the opposite would be true because it could cause arousal which could increase body temperature. But not so much that I think its harmful, and if it makes you feel better it seems fine to me.
