Life is meaningless.

Look, there are trillions of zillions of lives on earth. Ants, bees, wasps, mushrooms, weed,
germs, bacteria, monkeys,. No matter how they look or how small they are, every single one of them is a life!!

Lotta people say life is precious we should protect them.

When you brush your teeth, don't you kill millions of germs living on your teeth? Do you feel any compassion about it?
Imagine you're one of those germs living on someone's teeth. Good food, it's all nice and warm, life is fantastic, you got 32wives and 62,937 kids to feed. All of a sudden, it gets flooded with Literine and wipes out all your family. Isn't it sad??

I admit that I sound insane but, can't you see how meaninglessly lives die and eat each other?
I am just one of those innumberable lives in the world.

P.S.
I'm not emo or evil!!!! but just curious :D

There is no meaning of life, life is just life, and how you choose to live it. You can look up my one, 'IIN to see Life as a Game'

Because we're human and that's what humans do. It's in our nature. We create meaning, we create a lot of things.

This is a question i've been asking since i could remember..I'm 25..you're probably a teenager.Nobody can really give you an answer that will satisfy you..religous people might have their ideas, but if you're not religous, then their point of view will make no sense to you.My advice is to just live your life to the fullest and try not to think about it too much.Just do things that make you happy, but avoid illegal activities or suffer the consequences, spend as much time with the ones you hold dear because you never know when they're last day may come...or your own...

It's great that you think that way, life is important because we humans think we are the center of the universe. The thing is that we consider life as something that moves and that we can see. A silly american girl would cry if a puppy is killed but wouldn't doubt it for a second to kill a roach on her bedroom. I say kill the puppy too! hah no just kidding.

THe point is that we kill things all the time, we assume that life is what we want it to be, but when we pull carrots out of earth we are killing them, when we cut flowers to give to a girl we are killing them, when we eat meat we are killing the poor cow.

Conclusion you are right and even if it's not normal thinking like that I applaud it!

There's just too many lives in this world. Not good for my ego, either.

Yeah, life is meaningless. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't treasure the things that mean something to US.

One of the funny things about life is that you need death for life to survive and flourish. That's just how things are. Balance. Circle of life yadda yadda.

Wouldn't it be weird if we were flushed off the earth by cosmic listerine? Or equivalent haha

Btw, you're not evil or emo for thinking about stuff ;)

Well you have a point, the human mind distorts the reality of what's important and what's not.

Existentialism is a wonderful idea, a rational idea.

There is no purpose for human life, just the result of a splendid series of accidents.

Don't let that depress you, at least you happen to be part of the species on Earth that can form and articulate the questions about its existence.

I love you analogy of the germs in the mouth, and to support the comment before, don't stop thinking, because that's what brings meaning to yourself and those around you.

We're here, isn't that meaning enough? We have opportunities to make something of ourselves, to make a difference in the world around us. Who knows the real reason why we're here, it's not like we're ever going to find out! So why don't we just accept we're here and make the most of it? For our own sakes, and not for whatever significance we think it might have within the rest of existence.

I agree with you, I've thought on the subject a few times, and it's true, there is no meaning to life currently. We at born, we do some things in our lives, a day-to-day pattern, then we die, not much to it. I've researched on the matter a lot, and we simply do not have a purpose, we're just here because we are. I say this as a non-biased as I can.

haha true there, there is meaning to life though, have you ever wondered why were we born in the first place??? well everyone is born for a reason, I believe that we are just "visiting" earth as then we die and move on or are reincarnated. I think in life you have to find who you truely are and think about your beliefs/morals towards being human. For example, you are pretty much spirit as when you pass over your free from the body, it's peaceful and painless. So I think life is finding a path to focus on weather its spirituality or basically learning how to become a better balanced person.

i try not to kill any life, not even insects...but germs are not concious, or if at all, barely. the higher evolved the creature is, the more concious they are. for example: humans, dogs, ants, spiders and wolves are some of the best on the evolution chain. theyre all concious, so its best not to kill them. :)

When your born, freedom has evolved, all your life you have freedom but not the permission of an authority to do this, but you can if you accept the fact that you can become free but with a charge for it, you're free. But then we live, then die. So whats the point of life if we live to die.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • It sounds funny of you to say that, but I understand it. Kind of like how people treat living things that aren't human, like they're nothing. They have eyes, they have mouths, they feel PAIN... They use reason to move around objects and carry out functions and whatnot. So come on, there has to be something there.
It's depressing, I know. Something crazy we'll never understand, too.

Think of it this way, if a dog goes blind, does it care? Not really. It can really comprehend how sucky life can be sometimes. Don't kill yourself over it. It's the cycle of life. Things die, and things become born. So what if germs die, all they know is to eat, sleep, and have sex. Same with a dog. Eat, sleep, have sex. Isn't that simple?

    We're different.

Its the cycle of life. Plus those germs are not something you would really want. So they are better off dead.

Off Topic: Since you mention weed, were you high when you thought of this?

    That's an easy one

not all living beings have the same level of conciousness and awareness

it all starts with lifeless objects then minerals simple plants trees bacterias bugs smll animals beasts humans demons angels and so on untill you reach to the highest points of conciousness - the Divine level of conciousness
THE ALL (God/ Deity) and all of it's manifestations which are the Gods and Godesses the physical embodiments can be seen in simple and regular phenomenas and cycles in Nature which is by itself isthe physical embodiment of the Goddess in this world her spirit dwells in it

no one will argue that plants fangi and cacti have a lesser level of conciousness then beings of the animal kingdom from the point view of biology
yet they have a greater level of cociousness then minerals and other lifeless objects even though they to some extent too have some kind of a level of conciousness much much gross then of our species

you incarnate with eachlife cycle which begans with birth and ends with death through all of this chain of perfection
from a rock to a human
untill you reach the one the Monad THE ALL the God and become one with it receiving henosis and the gift of the end of the cycle of incarnation
then THE ALL starts a new life begening with the grossest level of conciousness which again maks up through the whole chain and the cycle starts ones again
