Long-hair or short-haired men?
Now in my 30s as a male, I've started researching more into men's hair and found a hair discussion group on Facebook. Seems everyone in this group advocates growing out your hair. I guess it has me reflecting a little bit given that I always thought short hair or, at most, medium length hair was more of a social norm. I'm not saying long-hair would make you a black sheep, but it just wasn't the norm. Now I'm thinking back to cavemen days or any early centuries perhaps like you'd see in Game of Thrones and how longer hair was more common.
What's really more normal for male humans? Obviously, scissors and professional stylists developed over time, but were men actually meant to have longer hair? Is short hair mostly a modern trick that became more popular due to the workforce and media?
