    It makes sense to me, becoming infertile must be a relief.

      As a person who was born sterile it is a relief that I cant have any bastards about. On the other hand I feel saddened by not being able to have my own blooded children.

      Seeing how it's a choice for you, you can be as excited as you want about it.

    Looking forward to not having to worry about getting girls pregnant is normal, looking forward to the procedure itself is not.

      It does bring a peace of mind, and is potentially reversible if desired.

      Please be aware that it's not 100%. There are cases where men still got ladies pregnant, and they have lost any lawsuits filed against the Dr's, Clinics, and Hospitals involved.

      But, in 99.9% of cases you don't have to worry about that. Just be aware of the possibility.

        Yeah, I'd definitely get a fertility test afterwards to be safe. (I'm not the op btw, I'm just saying).

          Be aware that it's almost always immediately effective. In some cases the body repairs the damage which may take years. So perhaps a fertility test every other year (or something like that) would provide a clue that "mother nature" (or whomever) has different plans and your getting fertility back.

    i think it is different for each man, some think its great and others fear it, thinking later on in life they may want children and then cant
