Love my pets more than people

You're probably thinking I'm the type of person that has no friends only pets :(. That's half true. Anyways I find it easier to kiss or hug my animals more than I would to a person. I always say to them "I love you" or talk about how cute they are. I never really said that to people I dated. It just comes so easily to say it to an animal because they cant really say anything back or reject you much. Is this normal? Anyone else feel the same way? :)

    Probably because your pet loves you unconditionally and they are always there in hard lonely times. They don't judge you and even better, don't hurt you (emotionally atleast) Plus who doesn't like putting their face in something so soft? I never loved a pet but I enjoy having them around, almost like a true friend.

      Pets don't love unconditionally. They do what what's necessary to be fed and cared for.

    I'm definitely the same :) I consider my pets part of the family, my cat Tom in particular is very special to me. I always give him kisses on the top of his head, cuddle him and talk to him, I don't try to have conversations or anything but I always say how I love him and how cute he is, that he's a good boy etc.

    It pays off, I get a LOT of love from him as a result of giving him so much affection <3 The proof that he doesn't just love me for food is that I don't feed him, my mum does. He just loves my company 24/7 XD

    Try not to neglect relationships with humans too lol.

    But I'd say it's normal.Like you said,they can't reall yhurt you emotionaly.And thye love you unconditionally :)

    People who love their pets more than they love other humans are misfits. They are usually the type that no one wants to be around, so it's the pet or nothing. Instead of wasting your time hugging and kissing your stinking pets, you should be concentrating on self-improvement.

      Someone sounds butt-hurt and should work on their own self-improvement, rather than suggesting it to others.
