Lvns pay rate in california? nurses only please

Hi guys!! I know this is rather a boring topic but I’m just curious because I am currently applying for a job as an LVN. I did look up the salary rates in california but all salaries are negotiable so I don’t think it’s accurate. I dont have any experience at all but I do know that many facilities are desperate rn. How much do you make in a skilled facility and what is the usual nurse to patient ratio? How demanding is the job? Thanks!!

So LVN/LPN’s have been phased out and are still being phased out and more or less compared to MA’s at this rate. So it really depends on where you are and what the needs of the facility are in my opinion.

Its hard to find actual salaries for fields. If I google my job and position it says I make half the hourly rate I do.

How skewed is first year pay? I projected I'll only make 60% of the listed salary.

And I dont make as much as most semi drivers at my company in my position because I havent topped out yet. So they got the pay like 23 an hour less than most drivers.

Ive also seen this in other fields it says people make less than they do alot of times on google.

Schnieder wants to change how our on duty not driving pay works. Hopefully it's a lucrative change since that's 25% of my paycheck. If not well I'll just tough it out for a year.

We call them LPNs in my area. And as far as I know they’re being weeded out. But that could’ve changed since Covid.

Good luck finding an opening at college. Waiting list at my local technical college is 2 years just to take the class.

Pass that and get some experience under your belt and you will do well.

I'm not affiliated with the medical system. Though I dont think you will find someone on IIN that has your criteria.

California is a cesspit. If you are cool with working with swarms of homeless and immigrants, it's a great job. If you dont want to, pretty much every job will have less homeless and more regular people.

Reason why I'm singling out california here is because they have the highest rate of homelessness. I dont know about you but if I was a nurse I'll be more inclined to see a labor union working Joe's hemroid than treating a drug addicted homeless person.
