Make up chess sets

Is it normal to make up your own chess sets? Not actually to build them, but to think, "Okay, if I made [example] Star Wars into a chess set, would Luke be the white king and Vader the black king? Who would the queens be? The bishops?" etc. I just like to think about that every once in a while.

I also do it with card suites. ("Who would be the ace of spades? King?" etc.)

    I do that when I've been playing alot of chess.. Used to sit in class and imagine the students and teachers as different pieces and the classroom as the board..

    Yes. I used to do that ALL the time when I was like 10-12

    I think that sounds cool and it could be one of you talents you should write down you creative ideas and maybe they will become something more then ideas one day that's what I do and I plan to open a business
