Context:
There needs to be some decency in society. Men should not be looking at women's private parts. What has society come to?
LOL. In some countries the only people allowed to have educations are men and therefore are the only gynos.
As an American though, my favorite OB who delivered my 2 oldest, was a dude. Fucking hilarious. He makes me feel so comfortable (not that I’m ever comfortable having anyone dig around in my bits).
There’s a lot of things wrong with American healthcare especially with womens health. And I don’t think having more women being gynos is gonna help. It’s about money. But yes, it would be nice for it to be a female dominated field for obvious reasons.
Those things men dominate were invented by men, qualified women definitely should be allowed based on their qualifications, not because "they are women feeling entitled to stuff men invented".
Men invented gynecology, and its a shame feminist wants to dismiss all the contributions of men in medicine, the invention of techniques in surgery that men invented, women gained not by inventing but feeling entitled and wants to exclude the gender that invented these techniques! Its as much as a double standard as a girl not being allowed in boys scout being considered sexist but a boy not being allowed in girls scout not being considered sexist, pathetic double standards of feminist!
That's the take away normal people should have. Does it matter as long as the person taking a look is (your/a) doctor?

It is kind of sus as to why a dude wants to go into gynocology. Wouldnt want my daughter going to a guy it seems weird.

Question is where you want to stop your education vs how much you want to get paid. You can go all the way to brain surgery but that's like 20 years of education.
I would be less concerned about a doctor being a perv vs a soccer coach. One has less to lose. Of course everyone can be a perv but percentage wise it's decreased.
There's a lot of money in several specialties of the medical field. No offense but I think going into gynecology is weird. Makes a little more sense if you're a woman and maybe interested exclusively in women's issues, dealing with pregnancy and periods and whatnot.

I agree and I cant see any reason why a man would even want to be one for any reason besides getting to see a lot of womens private parts. Its probably like a weird fetish for them. I do not feel the same about lesbian gynos. Men are the gender that is completely sex crazed, its because of their hormones so thats a fact too. Lesbians are overall more respectful, doesnt stare in dressing rooms for example and certainly doesnt attack women outside. Its way different.
There’s a supply and demand element commenters are missing. Some specialties are more popular and more competitive. Some pay better than others.

More and more women are taking over jobs previously done by men. This is good for men. When I survey my male friends’ relationships, I’m finding there’s a MAJORITY where: 1. The woman is the only one working and/or 2. The woman has the better job. Just notice how many women are picking up the tab these days!

I wear a hijab so I do not have any male doctors, hair stylists, etc. However I do believe that they can be gynecologists, just not mine.
