Mandatory couceling for children

OMG, how in the world did children survive 200000+ years without counseling?
Yet in the last 70 years they seem to have acquired several hundred alphabet illnesses that can't be cured without counseling.
It's also amazing how things like social anxiety and sexual identity crises have now become the norm.
It seems to me all this coddling of children is terribly counterproductive to producing healthy, well rounded, socially comfortable adults.
Forget the therapy and instead let's figure out why we are raising generation after generation of really fucked up kids, and fix THAT!
