Men not respecting women

I think if more women acted like ladies, more men would behave like gentlemen.

They don't, they just take it out on the ones they feel are more beneath them on the food chain.

(insert obligatory disclaimer here about how not ALL men are like this, because I don't believe they are)

I don't owe you my respect.

I don't respect my mother because she barely won it then lost it.

"but not women."

I only respect those that have proven to me on an individual basis that they are worth my liking because no one is entitled to it regardless of their gender/sex, sexuality, race, ethnicity, wealth, social status/political power or religion.

Depends what you mean by not respecting

I feel like most men do respect women but I don’t know.

They are inferior to us.

I dont respect every single person in this world [that includes women too]
talking about women, Inthe past I did respect every single woman, but I stopped doing that. because I've noticed most of them used my respecting nature to use me for thir needs (they asked me to do their work when I'm trying to do my work).

that doesn't mean I stopped repeating every single woman,
"when they respect me in a decent manner, I will respect them too(without considering their gender)"

I actually think people respect women too much, and that most sexism is towards men.

Respect requires:

1st that the people involved learned about normal etiquette and what respect means.

2nd the conditional extension of respect and trust on initial meeting.

3rd - that you handle that appropriately.

I don't respect men more than woman. I respect those who act respectfully after we meet.

If I'm not respecting you... then your behavior is the reason why.

Don't blame me for something that you had control over.

Now occasionally some people understand that they messed up, acknowledge it, and earn my respect by improved actions after they acknowledge that they could have done better.

respect goes both ways, i find it impossible to respect anyone male or female who does not show respect for others. in todays age that means a lot of people and sorry to say women show less respect for others than anyone else
