Men watching disney movies

Whenever im talking to a guy and hes like "im watching a disney movie, I love disney :)" I heave. I am not into babies and anime is bad enough but all disney movies are actually made for children. I could never take a man seriously who on a friday night puts on a disney movie out of all the real and interesting stuff he could be watching. I was texting a slightly younger man the other day and I was already on the fence about going out with him because hes the same age as my younger brother (22), and then he said he was going to spend the night watching disney movies...
Almost as bad as this guy acquitance of mine whos favorite actor is Adam Sandler, favorite show is Big Bang Theory and whom loves anime and has a badly tattooed video game character on him with proportions that look like a child designed it.
It doesnt help that disney fans are kind of like the cult of anime weaboos, they think it makes them really quirky that they watch childrens movies. Sometimes I really think men being allowed to be the way they're all becoming nowadays was a mistake. Soon there wont be any testosterone anymore, just look at how many weaboos become troons and start taking hormones to be like the anime girls they cant have. Thats the future.

    If a man doesn't watch Disney movies at all, I avoid him like the plague because I need a man who has emotion and a good heart.

    Out of everything you list in your rant, only one is unforgivable and a dead-certain indicator of derangement: being a fan of Adam Sandler.

      On second thoughts, maybe you’re right. There’s a distinction between saying you respect Adam Sandler to saying you’re a fan of him.

      (*note as I was typing Sandler my autocorrect kept changing it to Dangler which I found way more funny than it should have been)

        An example of the inadvertent wisdom of autocorrect. "Dangler" sounds to me like the name of a character Sandler would play in what I think of as a typical Sandler film.

      That one’s complicated, maybe it’s just in the wording, had you said Adam Sandlers movies, sure, more misses there than hits. Im assuming that’s what you meant. And a lot of people find that voice he puts on obnoxious. But his career has been varied, he’s been a musician and a standup too, amongst other things and when you watch interviews with him he’s a very affable guy. So I’m like a fan of Adam Sandler, all things considered, and I got a good laugh from his earlier films when I was at a more appropriate age to enjoy that kind of humour.

    As a reader many of the books I read children's books. Did you know the hobbit and the lord of the rings are children's books. Those movies filled with violence and gore and monsters were made for children. Not to mention many at least old Disney stories were made from old tales used to teach and entertain kids.

    Then there's the big bang theory. A show all about intellectual jokes. So what you hate children stuff and intelligence?

    If your type of man is a dumb brute with no love for kids or old memories I'd suggest getting a prison pen pal

    Walt Disney and his company makes movies for the kid inside all of us.... and he understood that about half of the population was male.

    I enjoy watching some of the Walt Disney movies... always have. Others of them - not so much (once is enough, than you). But something rare is that I have never hated a Walt Disney movie and felt it was a waste of my time; and there are lots of movies out there that fall into that catagory.

    So, I'd say Walt Disney and his company understands the movie audience much better than anyone else.

    If you look... Walt Disney owns a variety of other movie brands... and releases more adult movies on those other brands (some of what I don't care for).

    Meh, I don't mind people enjoying the movies and TV shows they like, even if they aren't my thing. Disney movies are pretty harmless, and a lot of people love watching things from their childhood that bring back memories and a feeling of nostalgia.
