Missing body

Is it weird to have occasional fears of dying or being killed, and your family not being able to find your body? I mean this from a closure point of view for your family. (i.e, You become severely hurt or trapped out in the wilderness, and your body can't be located, so your family doesn't have a body to mourn over.)

Yeah that's normal: maybe you could get one of the new tracking devices and always take it with you?

      Hi Nickvey,

Not at all, I’m very much an outdoor kind of person. That’s why I think I worry, just because I enjoy backcountry camping, and do solo hikes and camping quite frequently. I think it comes from having a close relationship with my family and not wanting them to miss me, or cause them stress.

Quit watching NCIS, Criminal Minds or Bones or other shows along that line. Don't even think of watching Forensic Files.

I actually don’t watch much true crime shows, not out of fear, just don’t care for the corny drama. I actually got the fear after a guy tried to follow me home, and the next day I found out another girl in my neighbourhood was abducted (but luckily got away) and it made me worry that that could have been me. And that had she not escaped, no one possibly could have heard from her again.
