I was kidding about the medieval stuff. But I prefer games with melee combat rater than destructive guns and explosions. And graphic stuff aren't my thing, which most modern games contain. So, I prefer games like Fable and Zelda Ocarina of Time. Since the modern game developers emphasize Graphics and explosions rather that a story worth playing for, I gave up gaming.

Space Invaders, man. That's the primal scream of the video game industry.

I played Pong when you were in diapers. It was slow and didn't spark compelling interaction. Space Invaders was the first game that "electrified" its users.

The last and only gaming system I had was sega. I loved sonic the hedgehog. I had mortal kombat 2 also. The last game I played was crash bandicoot and that was about 15 years ago at a friends house.

Yes indeed. My brothers have always had the newest console and they play computer games too. They look pretty cool but I just never got into it. I'd rather be getting dirty in the yard or making things with my hands and stuff like that.

So... 10 years old is "pre-modern". Wow. I haven't seen a truly significant change in video games graphics rendering or amazingly different game play in quite a while. I think you might be able to draw a line in the dirt when id came out with Wolfenstein 3D, but although the graphics have become prettier, the underlying rendering engines haven't got better so much as processors have become a lot faster.

Now, let's compare that to Pong and we have a conversation worth having.
