More than 1000 unread e-mails?
My friend thinks it is strange that I have 1065 unread e-mails (of 5000 total) in my gmail account. He says I am "taking up space in the universe".
Is it normal that I am not clearing my inbox?

i hate having unread mail, and even read garbage mail i hate it too.
if i see that i am getting close to 10 unread mails then i just delete them unless i see that it is a personal thing.
i guess i have to be tha one asking if this is normal...
u should log in on your friends Pc and every time he selects hes account on the windows log in screen it says (insert a number) unread messages , and that tends to get really annoying :D
*severe twich*
I love your friend's comment about taking space in the universe, LOL!
This question is wasting space because it is so dumb.
Google sets a limit of space you can use with your gmail account for a reason, your current status is no where near that limit.
Well ifeel quite silly now. Idisabled my spam filter on my gmail account and in rpughly a year, my inbox has accumulated to...
Brace yourselves...
16,487 emails and 3 spam letters (the spam I have no idea how it got there)
honestly, it's normal. I never see the need to clear my ibvox.
This may seem like an exaggeration, but I kid you not, I have 5068 unread messages on one of the accounts I haven't used in about two or three years!
Oh my god!! *twitches*
That's a lot of unread mail.
I thought I had a lot. Only 346 here.
i have one accout that i use so that i won't get much mail in the other. And the last time i checked i had about 3ooo, i think it's normal. i just hate mail, and im to lazy! so i just ignore them.
