Moving lump in ear i'm scared?

A few months ago I found out there was a small lump in the skin in my right ear that was right at the bottom where that big fleshy part is. I thought it was just a pimple or something and it would go away.

I still have it though, and in the few months it's moved higher up closer to my ear hole. It only hurts if I squeeze it, and sometimes if I lay on my side my ear will hurt and go numb because of the lump.

I've read online and that it could be possibly some sort of cancer, I'm really scared now and I'm not sure if I should see a doctor about it, I'm really worried I don't want to get cancer and die I'm only 18 :'(

    Doctor Google - frightening people for the past 20 years.

    It's probably nothing more sinister than a blocked sweat gland, maybe even a sebaceous cyst, but go to a real doctor and get it checked.

    Actually it's a rapidly growing embryo from some unknown space alien. I would guess some horned creature from the planet Mars. It was implanted in your ear lobe while you were asleep one night. It's feeding on the fatty tissue inside your ear. I'd have the creature removed if I were you. Minor surgery. Done at a free clinic in the South Bronx.

    Go to the doctor if its serious starting treatment asap could make a big difference.

    It probably some kind a larvae growing, give it some time they will hatch and be gone.

    You're 18, presumably healthy as only the young can be. Not likely to be cancer.

    A cyst perhaps? Go to the doctor.
