My breasts are sometimes too tender?

Is it normal that my breasts feel really sore or tender sometimes? Like today one of my friends hugged me and I winced. Is this a normal thing? Should I buy a different bra? Is there anything I can do to make the tenderness go away?

    Sounds like your hormones are wonky. Many women experience tender breasts as a PMS symptom.

    It depends on how old you are. If you are still a teenager your breasts might be growing- same goes for pregnant women. If not just ask your doctor, there will probably be a simple explanation for it

    Most women experience breast tenderness a few days before or during their menstrual cycle. It's normal.

    Could be all kinds of things, some nothing to worry about. Your best bet is to google "tender breasts" then click on the medical sites to compare all your symptoms to their descriptions. Better yet, mention it to your doc.
